EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Indiana High School Athletic Association’s Boys State Wrestling Finals are starting up in downtown Evansville.
This tournament will be the first state finals of any kind to happen in Evansville in over 120 years.

It is set to take place Friday, February 16 and Saturday, February 17.
According to a release, a Fan Festival will be held outside of the Ford Center on Saturday, February 17, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Organizers say a variety of activities and attractions will provide attendees with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the excitement surrounding the event. A shuttle will also be available to transport visitors between Main Street and West Franklin Street from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. Additionally, the Corner Club at the southwest corner of the Ford Center will be open to non-ticketed patrons.
The Fan Festival is free and open to the public.
Tickets for the tournament are available at ticketmaster.com or at the Ford Center box office. Due to high demand, tournament officials anticipate that tickets will sell out quickly.
