WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - Grammy-winning actress NaTasha Yvette Williams is set to start in a local performance of Death of a Salesman produced by the Opera House Theatre Company.
Some Like It Hot (Original Cast Recording) won Best Musical Theater Album at the 66th annual show earlier this year, and Williams began performing as Sweet Sue in the original Broadway cast in 2022. During her career, she has performed in plays like Chicago, Chicken and Biscuits, Waitress and The Color Purple
Ahead of her performances in Death of a Salesman set for Feb. 22 - 25 and Feb. 29 - March 3, Williams visited the WECT studio on Feb. 16 to talk about her work ahead of the shows.
