Film enthusiasts in Kerala have had a pleasing February as several eagerly awaited big-screen releases hit the theatres with overwhelmingly positive reviews from the public.
Manjummel Boys, starring Soubin Shahir and Sreenath Bhasi, is receiving great reviews from audiences and is predicted to be a box-office smash. Meanwhile, Mammootty's Bramayugam and Naslen's Premalu exceeded Rs 50 crore in revenue just two weeks after their theatrical releases. In its third week of release, Tovino Thomas' investigative thriller Anweshippin Kandethum is likewise playing well in theatres.

While these films continue to run successfully in theatres, a number of other Malayalam films are scheduled to be released on the big screens on March 1.

Kadakan

The main character in Kadakan is portrayed by Hakkim Shajahan. Kadakan, which is set in the Nilambur and Mampad areas of the Malappuram district, reportedly gives equal weight to poignant and action scenes. Along with the appropriate amount of commercial elements, it also subtly draws inspiration from real-life events in order to appeal to the audience.

Secret Home

Secret Home, which is set in the Kottayam area of Kerala, centres on four individuals who become involved in a grisly crime involving an odd mansion with multiple secrets. As the narrative progresses, the characters' ambiguities become more apparent. Secret Home stars Chandhunadh, Aparna Das, Anu Mohan, and Sshivada in the key parts.

Oru Bharata Sarkar Ulpanam

Oru Bharatha Sarkar Ulpannam tackles a subject that is still frowned upon in our society. The National Population Control Mission's male vasectomy initiative is carried out in a panchayat, and the movie's trailer teases a hilarious turn of events that follows. It also suggests a serious undercurrent to the film, given the court cases pertaining to this subject.

Anandhapuram Diaries

A middle-aged woman returns to law school after having dropped out twice due to unforeseen circumstances. The trailer features glimpses into the hilarious events that transpired after she arrived at the college, as well as an investigation into the rape and murder of a girl. Meena Sagar is starring in this campus-based movie.
