Universal is bending time and space to set a date for Ke Huy Quan’s next movie. The studio will release With Love on Feb. 7, 2025. With Love marks the Oscar-winning actor’s first time leading a major movie.
The film is produced by 87North, the stunt-centric banner behind Nobody, Violent Night and the upcoming feature Fall Guy, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. Plot details are being kept under lock and key.
The film continues the trajectory for Quan, who broke out as a child actor in movies like Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Goonies, before spending decades without acting roles only to return with an Oscar-winning performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once. He has gone on to star in season two of Loki.
Veteran stunt coordinator and fight coordinator Jonathan Eusebio makes his directorial debute with the project. His credtis include Black Panther, The Avengers, the John Wick films and The Matrix Resurrections and The Fall Guy.
With Love has a script from Josh Stoddard, Luke Passmore and Matthew Murray. Producers include 87North’s Kelly McCormick and David Leitch and Guy Danella.
