Jithender Reddy is set to release on May 3.
On Wednesday, the makers of the upcoming Telugu film Jithender Reddy unveiled a first glimpse of the movie. Touted as a political drama, the film stars Rakesh Varre in the titular role.
The special glimpse unveiling ceremony took place on Wednesday and was attended by the whole cast and crew of the upcoming release. At the event, the makers talked about the film and what the audience should expect.
The producer of the film Muduganti Ravinder Reddy said, “Everyone needs to know about history. One such history to know is the life of Jitender Reddy." He added that he was ecstatic to know that Virinchi Varma was going to direct the film. Complimenting the lead of the film, he said that the lead Rakesh “lived the role of Jithender Reddy with the movie". He concluded by expressing hope for Jithender Reddy’s successful release.
The lead Rakesh Varre said on the occasion that they held this event to gather support for the release. He appreciated the efforts put in by the producer to bring to life the story of his elder brother Jithender Reddy. He stated, “I hope that the audience will like this movie and it will be a success."
Moreover, the director of the film Virinchi Varma revealed that when he read the story, he was compelled to direct a character like Jithender Reddy. He visited Jithender Reddy’s village to know more about his life and personality, meeting his friends and others to perfect the story.
The first glimpse of the film was released on the official YouTube channel of Muduganti Creations, on April 3. The 53-second clip promises an action-packed, intense ride with some violence. It has gained more than 634,000 views on the platform so far. The film is set to have its theatrical release on May 3.
The cast of the film includes Rakesh Varre, Rhea Suman, Chhatrapati Shekhar, Subbaraju and Ravi Prakash in prominent roles. It is directed by Virinchi Varma while the producer is Muduganti Ravinder Reddy from Muduganti Creations.
