CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Former Law & Order star Angie Harmon says that a delivery driver shot and killed their beloved dog outside a Charlotte home over Easter weekend.
Harmon posted it on her Instagram account on Monday, April 1, stating that the delivery driver working with Intsacart got out of his car, delivered the groceries, and then shot their dog, Oliver.
She went on, writing that she and her daughters were home, and the delivery driver kept saying, “‘Yeah, I shot your dog. Yeah, I did.’”
Harmon also said that her Ring camera was charging in the house, which the delivery driver noticed, leading Harmon to believe he knew he wasn’t being recorded.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police tell us that no charges were filed in the incident and that the person was let go due to self-defense.
CMPD stated they received a call just before noon on Saturday, March 30 in regards to a dog being shot. Officers talked to all parties and stated that the delivery driver arrived at the residence and a dog attacked him and that he defended himself by firing a single gunshot, striking and wounding the dog.
