Manjummel Boys (Disney+Hotstar)
‘Manjummel Boys’ is a 2024 Malayalam survival thriller from India. Directed by Chidambaram and produced by Parava Films, it features a large cast including Soubin Shahir and Sreenath Bhasi. The movie, inspired by real events from 2006, follows a group of friends from Manjummel near Kochi who go on a vacation to Kodaikanal.

Anchakkallakkokkan (Amazon Prime Video)
‘Anchakkallakokkan’ is a Malayalam film from 2024, classified as a Western crime drama. The movie transports viewers to the year 1986, focusing on a gripping plot where a landlord is murdered on election day. The storyline follows a group of police officers, under the leadership of Nadavaramba, as they embark on a mission to uncover the murderer. The killer is believed to have held a longstanding grudge against a particular family, adding layers of intrigue and complexity to the investigation. The film delves deep into the suspense and dynamics of this intense conflict.

Aavesham (Amazon Prime Video)
‘Aavesham’ (meaning Excitement) is a 2024 Malayalam action comedy directed by Jithu Madhavan. It was produced by Nazriya Nazim and Anwar Rasheed under their banners Fahadh Faasil and Friends and Anwar Rasheed Entertainments. The film features Fahadh Faasil, Hipzster, Mithun Jai Shankar, and Roshan Shanavas in lead roles, with Midhutty, Sajin Gopu, and Mansoor Ali Khan in supporting roles. Sushin Shyam composed the music, and Sameer Thahir and Vivek Harshan handled the cinematography and editing, respectively.
The OTT rights of ‘Aavesham’ have been sold to Amazon Prime Video, but the release date has not been announced yet.
Aadujeevitham- The Goat Life (Disney+Hotstar)
‘Aadujeevitham - The Goat Life’ is a 2024 Malayalam survival drama written, directed, and co-produced by Blessy. It's an international project with production ties in both India and the USA. The film is based on Benyamin's 2008 bestseller "Aadujeevitham," which tells the true story of Najeeb, an Indian labourer forced into slavery in Saudi Arabia. Starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and K. R. Gokul in the lead roles, the film also features Talib Al Balushi, Rik Aby, Amala Paul, and Shobha Mohan in supporting roles. The film is banned in all Khaleeji countries except the UAE, similar to the novel it's based on.

According to information from a source known as m9, Disney+Hotstar has acquired the digital streaming rights for the film. As per the terms set out in the agreement, the movie is set to make its debut on over-the-top (OTT) streaming platforms 40 days following its initial theatrical release. Based on this timeline, it appears that ‘Aadujeevitham’ is likely to be available for streaming on OTT platforms starting May 10.
