Glen Powell continues to be one of Hollywood’s most in-demand leading men of the moment.
The actor is in early talks to star in the next film from director J.J. Abrams, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed. No deal is yet in place, and plot details are currently under wraps, although the project does not involve time travel, putting to rest recent rumors about Abrams’ potential plans.
A representative for Abrams’ production company, Bad Robot, declined to comment.
Powell and Abrams are both producers on Paul Crowder’s documentary film The Blue Angels, which hits Imax on May 17 before streaming on Prime Video a week later. The project follows a year with the Navy’s highly regarded Flight Demonstration Squadron.
