The Telugu film industry has had its worst summer period, with no films becoming blockbusters. The summer holiday season was ruined by the IPL and the elections.

On June 7, Sharwanand’s “Manamey,” Kajal Aggarwal’s “Satyabhama,” Navdeep’s “Love Mouli,” and “Rakshana” will test their luck. “Manamey” and “Satyabhama” stand out as having star value and the potential for success.
Sudheer Babu’s “Haroma Hara” and Chandini Chowdary’s “Yevam” are the two most important Telugu films to release on June 14.
And the main attraction and much-anticipated biggie of the season is Prabhas’ “Kalki 2898 AD,” which hits theaters on June 27. With this, audiences will undoubtedly flock to the theatres. “Kalki 2898 AD” will open big, but the industry is hoping to see a surge in theater attendance starting this weekend itself.
