Disney+ Hotstar is set to premiere ‘Guruvayoorambala Nadayil’ on June 27, 2024. According to industry sources, this Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer, directed by Vipin Das of ‘Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey’ fame, revolves around a series of hilarious incidents at a wedding. The plot thickens when a figure from Vinu's past resurfaces days before his wedding, leading to a comical clash between two determined individuals.
‘Malayalee from India’ (IMDb Rating: 6.1/10)
Sony LIV will stream ‘Malayalee from India’ starting July 5. Despite the controversy surrounding plagiarism accusations post its theatrical release, this Nivin Pauly starrer remains highly anticipated. Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, the film follows an indolent youth thrust into a political controversy, forcing him to flee his hometown and confront his own biases in unfamiliar territory.

While the OTT release date is yet to be announced, ‘Turbo’ is expected to hit Sony LIV soon. Starring Mammootty as Turbo Jose, this Vysakh-directed action-entertainer follows an Idukki native's journey to Chennai, where he becomes entangled in a complex conspiracy involving business tycoons, politicians, and the underworld. Industry insiders hint at this being the start of a franchise potentially featuring Vijay Sethupathi in future installments.
Sony LIV is also set to stream ‘Thalavan,’ though the exact release date is pending confirmation. This Jis Joy thriller stars Asif Ali and Biju Menon as contrasting police officers. The plot takes an intriguing turn when one officer is accused of murder, and the other is tasked with investigating the case, testing the boundaries between duty and personal vendettas.
