Airborne X opening entertainment complex in Harvey
CityBusiness staff reports//January 21, 2022//
Airborne X is opening an entertainment complex in Harvey.
A grand opening is scheduled Feb. 4 at 901 Manhattan Blvd., in the space that formerly housed Bed Bath & Beyond.
Airborne X has 30,000 square feet of sky riding, a trampoline park, obstacle courses, over 20 arcade games, freestanding climbing structures, rope course, play areas for children and more.
The company will be the new anchor tenant in the Westbank Village Shopping Center. After Bed Bath & Beyond announced its closure in January 2020, Airborne X owner Alex Siao outbid three competitors to acquire the property and begin a multimillion-dollar renovation and park development, a news release said.
The business expects to employ more than 80 workers, it said.
Another Airborne X is located in Denham Springs.
