SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - When people think of Super Bowl stars, Tom Brady, Joe Montana, or even Nick Foles all come to mind, but on Saturday, the biggest star for some viewers won’t be on the field.
In Sioux Falls, some Taylor Swift fans chose to theme their Super Bowl party around the pop star.
We caught up with the “Swifties” to get a look at how the party will go.
“More younger girls like my daughter, she’s a Swiftie and she started to watch football more because of Taylor and I like that because we get to share that time together and she can spend that time with her grandpa,” Courtney Sorsen.
“To open up that space in the football world is really cool. I don’t think that’s something that up until this point has the NFL on its own has been able to break through into that market,” said Erin Eckrich
Some fans have theorized that Swift would make an appearance during Usher’s halftime show, but several outlets have reported she will not.
