Following its success in Malayalam, Manjummel Boys made its Telugu debut on April 6, 2024. With a promising start in its regional theatres, fans are eager to see how it performs at the Telugu box office. Recent updates indicate promising figures emerging from the Telugu market for the film.
Director Chidambaram made the film originally in Malayalam, followed by its release on February 22, 2024. The film is based on a real-life event that took place in 2006 at Guna Cave, famously known as Devil’s Kitchen.
The original synopsis of the film on IMDb reads, “A group of friends get into a daring rescue mission to save their friend from Guna Caves, a perilously deep pit from where nobody has ever been brought back.” The cast includes Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi, Jean Paul Lal, and others in pivotal roles.
According to Sacnilk, Manjummel Boys encountered disappointment in its collection, amassing only approximately $8,407 at the Telugu box office on its premiere day. Yet, on the following day, there was a notable surge in collections, reaching about $153,723. Consequently, the film’s overall Telugu earnings amounted to $162,128. Furthermore, Manjummel Boys has amassed around $15.4 million in net collections across India thus far.
On a global scale, the film has minted approximately $27.1 million in the worldwide collection. However, it is essential to note that the data may vary from the producers’ figures.

Aside from this, Premalu, released in the same month as Manjummel Boys, is now gearing up for its OTT release scheduled for April 12 on Disney Plus Hotstar. The film will be available in multiple languages, including Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil. Moreover, Premalu has left a substantial mark at the box office, accumulating an Indian net collection of approximately $8.8 million across various languages, thereby elevating its global earnings to $15.4 million.
