Telugu star Nithiin’s latest action-drama, Extra Ordinary Man, created quite a stir among the audience. While some found the film a tad bit slow, many claimed that it offered a refreshing and unexplored peek into a junior artist’s life. The film was lauded by movie-goers as it entertained them thoroughly. The right amount of drama, comedy, romance, and action form the base of this enjoyable movie. However, the movie’s box office collection did not impress many. Now, the makers are reportedly eyeing a digital release of the film.
Extra Ordinary Man marked the return of Nithiin to the big screen. The actor was last seen in the political action movie Macherla Niyojakavargam, which came out last year. Alongside the Telugu star, Sreeleela played the leading lady and added the much-needed glamor to the screens.
As per a News18 report, Nithiin’s Extra Ordinary Man might land on Netflix next month. The report claims that the makers of the movie are eyeing a digital release around the festival of Sankranti. If the reports are to be believed, the film might be available to stream in the first half of January 2024. However, an official statement from the makers is yet to be made.
Extra Ordinary Man’s plot follows the story of a former junior artist who becomes a smuggler and a vigilante hero. The film hit the theaters on December 8, 2023, and competed with Nani and Mrunal Thakur’s romantic drama, Hi Nanna. While Hi Nanna became a hit among the audience, Nithiin’s film reportedly garnered only $1.23 million at the box office.
Vakkantham Vamsi wrote and directed the film, while Sreshth Movies and Ruchira Entertainments jointly produced it. Rajasekhar, Sudev Nair, Pavitra Lokesh, Rao Ramesh, and Harsha Vardhan played supporting roles.
