Ohio county hosting free 'Elope at the Eclipse' event during 2024 solar eclipse – Cleveland 19 News
TIFFIN, Ohio (WOIO) - One Ohio county will be holding an event tailor-made for couples looking to walk down the aisle during a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Destination Seneca County will be hosting its “Elope at the Eclipse” event on April 8, the day of the total solar eclipse, at the East Green Amphitheater in Tiffin, near Toledo.
The event is completely free, according to the Seneca Regional Chamber.
The weddings will be officiated by Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Damon Alt.
Destination Seneca County says the event will also provide live music for the first dance, beverages for the first toast, a photographer and a personalized wedding cake.
Couples who wish to get married are required to bring a valid marriage license to the event. Those who are looking to reaffirm their vows can register and attend without any documentation.
