POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - The Poplar Bluff Library has planned several events ahead of the total solar eclipse on April 8 and a family-friendly eclipse party.
Events include science-related art projects, a Galaxy of Horrors exhibit based on real NASA science and a presentation from a meteorologist on his adventures in viewing eclipses around the world over the past 50 years.
The library will wrap up their series with an Eclipse Viewing Party, with lawn games, eclipse crafts and free viewing glasses, while supplies last.
The viewing party is set for Monday, April 8 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ridgel branch.
Library visitors can view the Galaxy of Horrors exhibit at the main and Ridgel branch through the month of March and April.
