Rashmika Mandanna started as a Kannada actor but shot to fame across South India after the success of the Telugu film Geetha Govindam, starring Vijay Devarakonda. Their onscreen chemistry was cited as the reason for the film’s success beyond Telugu states. After breaking her engagement with Kannada star Rakshit Shetty, the actor focused on her career growth in the Tamil and Telugu film industry. She again teamed up with Deverakonda for the romantic drama Dear Comrade.
Since then there have been rumours that Mandanna is dating Deverakonda. While the two have continued to claim that they are good friends, fans can’t wait to see them onscreen again. At every instance, they both get asked about their third collaboration, and Rashmika has finally revealed that the two are listening to scripts and might soon come together for a film.
Speaking to Pinkvilla in an interview, Rashmika said, “We’re definitely looking for a script together. It’s been long, and I can see that fans are waiting for our collaboration next time. And if something really interesting comes up, definitely.”
Rashmika Mandanna has been part of big ventures in the past few years including Vijay’s Varisu, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa The Rise, and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. She has Pushpa The Rule, Rainbow, The Girlfriend, and Chaava in her kitty. With a packed year, her possible collaboration with Vijay Deverakonda will take its time. Meanwhile, Devarakonda is gearing up for the release of his next film Family Star.
England's attempt to chase down a target of 500 or 600 runs in 60-70 overs in the second Test against India failed, resulting in a 106-run loss and a tied series. James Anderson's confident statement was not enough as Ravichandran Ashwin criticized their aggressive batting approach, labeling it as "defenseless cricket."
